Fact: Sometimes I miss the cold weather

Especially since I found out about these!!! They are called Spirithoods. I am in LOVE. I want the Nighthawk, most of all so I can use the "You have to call me Nighthawk" quote from stepbrothers everytime someone asks, but I also really love the Panda. I really love them all. Why didn't I think of this??? How simple to carve out a stuffed animal and make it a hat/scarf just like the pioneers did with real animals. I want to go home to Idaho for a bit so I can actually get some use out of one! Well, that is if I had an extra $200 lyin around, maybe next winter....

Fact: I need a drink after today...

So I'm going to make some Candied Liquor. If you are interested you can watch a video here. Or google it, there are tons. What Candied Liquor is basically : One bottle of your choice of alcohol-most use vodka.  Candy. Some use Skittles, Jolly Ranchers, Starbursts. In general I like Tequila. I knock it back with a little salt and lemon normally, YUMM! But thats just me. I am going to get some vodka and tequila and try both. Maybe use Jolly ranchers, lemon heads or starbursts. FYI -I've heard Cherry is nasty like cough syrup. So I will be leaving those out ! I guess it will all depend on when I get to the store and what prices are cuz Im keepin it cheap and using tiny liquor bottles too, lol. 

What you do:

• Pour the liqour into a seperate something, like a solo cup (cups)
• seperate out the candy into flavor piles
• unwrap the candy (duh right? but you never know...)
• put the seperated candy into each cup
• stir occasionaly like every couple hours to see the progess
• put a coffee filter over a new cup with a rubber band
• slowly pour through filter
• once filtered add back to bottles or even into fancier bottles if you have them
• drink how you like. With juice, sprite, straight-the choice is yours !

With the Jolly ranchers it seems you can skip the filtering, but with other candies like skittle there is a sediment left over, CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW THEY TASTE !!!

I used Starburst and cheap vodka
Strawberry and Lemon
Pretty pink and yellow vodkas after straining out all the crap
mixed with Sprite
Strawberry was the fave and taste just like the starburst
DELICIOSO !

Fact: I am crazy for lists

I don’t know why. Lists for me are a fun way to think of the future and plan for it I suppose. I will go thru my purse and find list from months before. If something ever happens to me someone might think I was a crazy after seeing all my lists and spreadsheets. Grocery lists, dinner idea lists, budgets for each check (I even have a spreadsheet projecting my yearly budget), Christmas lists, birthday lists, little list of expensive things I want, lists of books I want to read, places to go, people to see, and THE LIST GOES ON, literally.
          I am excited to get paid soon as I am about to make a purchase off one of my lists. The “As seen on TV” list of things I MUST try. So far, on that list I have tried the following :

• Potato peeler gloves –  total sham. You have to boil the potato first then use the gloves; it was a huge time suck. The commercial made it seem as if magically the skin just fell away, damn special effects.

• Magic Toothpaste Dispenser – bastard worked a week maybe. Then the toothpaste clogged up the little hole and I had to wash it for ever and use q-tips to unclog only to make it work again for 2 more times - AARGH !

• Thighmaster – Suzanne Somers you’re a little white liar !!! My thighs never changed. I used that thing for at least 2 weeks straight before giving up.

• Oxi Clean – Actually works! RIP Billy Blanks. I would have probably still bought it if you weren’t so hyped up, then you would probably still be here today too- sad.

• Proactive – Also works, pretty well I might add. However,  it dried out my skin like crazy and the repair lotion burns, but since I dont wash my face .... well , hence my Zit problem.

                So, next on my list is.... The GYRO Bowl. 2 for $14.99!! Not bad, not bad. It’s a crazy bowl that claims it never spills. Also, it looks like Saturn so thats a plus. Who doesn’t love space? It is the final frontier. This bowl is perfect !!! My twins LOVE to spill their snacks throughout the house. Then they crush  the spilled items with their little feet into the carpet, its just precious...HA. So, Once I receive the bowls and give them the goldfish/fruitloop test I will let you know how it went. Fingers Crossed!
