At least in my case this is true. Here I thought that after 30 Zits would be a thing of the teenage past. Boy was I ever wrong. I had some crazy notion my skin would become clear and beautiful in my 20's at least. I thought breakouts were for girls, not established ladies like myself. Established? HAHA. Thinking that magically all the popping, painful, unsightly red, white, and black belmishes would just vanish and I would become somewhat sophisticated with a girlish glow like Audry Hepburn. Seriously though! I have been watching Oil of Olay commercials since I can remember. Even idolizing Catherine Denuve at age 5. None of these women had skin problems, was it just the Oil of Olay? In fact, I cant really remember my mother having skin issues either (she also used the OOO - I bet thats what Rachel Ray probably calls it). What gives?! Maybe its the fact I dont use Oil of Olay? Oprah, did I just have an AHA Moment? Am I seriously just answering my own question right now?! I think I am.

It may also be that I dont wash my face twice a day, not even once a day if I am being completly honest with you. Did I use shampoo to wash my face in my 5 minute shower/quick rinse today-YES. Come on now, who honestly has time for the slow water splashing clean and clear commercial face routine? Okay, challenge is on. This weekend I will purchase some trusty Olay and in two weeks I will update and see if its nature that has doomed me with zits for life as if some sort of spell cast was upon me by a wicked apple giving witch, or, it is just the fact that I am a lazy dirty faced girl. We shall find out....
UPDATE:
Its been 2 weeks and I have yet to buy the darn cleanser and OOO.
That stuff is crazy expensive
I continue being lazy about washing my face
The zits remain.
