I just got back from a 3 day cruise to CATALINA/ENSENADA !!! Thanks to my pal Margie who knew I needed a vaca after the unfortunate "tampon" incident. She signed me up to go on a cruise with her and 5 other girls. She and my husband surprised me the weekend before we left, what a blast we had! Check mark off cruise from my Phuket List and let me add Cruising like 10 more times!!! Turns out, I love being on a boat! No wonder Im such a fan of that song.Here are somethings I learned...
1.Eating as much as you want.... you shouldnt. Most stomachs are not cut out for cruise eating. There is a plethora of food and if you are a Gluten, you will be a Gluten for punishment I PROMISE YOU.OHHH so this is why they have Pepcid samples in your cabins.
2. Take the SeaSickness pills. What a little lifesaver these were. I had no idea I wasnt on land, but I saw a few people who looked like they were on the Deadliest Catch boat, they didnt take the pills..tisk tisk
3.Dont start drinking at 10am. Seriously this culd ruin everything though it seems so logical while you are on the boat. I did pretty good in this area and never got out of control drunk and kept drinking to mostly the night other than the occasional poolside Pina Colada on the Lido deck. I did see a drunk bathroom massacre however and it was only like 2pm!!
4. Wear Sunscreen- oh and re-apply it too. Applying once is not enough when you are out to sea.My back is still bright red and itching peeling-YOWZA!
5.Meet lots of people, Have FUN, Take a ton of pictures (even stupid pictures)!! Be silly, Be loud,Do stuff you would never do, try things you have never tried!! I ate Seared Tuna Sushi and Veal for the first time. Your on vacation,there should be no drama.

They wouldnt let us off in Ensenada unfortunately :( due to swine flu,but we anchored nearby and watched the island! LOL So this means I have to go back. I will post some pics when I get some from the girls, I didnt bring my camera because it was to much to carry-all I wanted was a drink in one hand and I.D. in the other!!We did take a slew of dumb pics though with the photogs on the boat but they were $20 each so I skipped them-bummer :(
Did you sing that song while on the boat? and did T-pain happen to be on your boat? HAHAHAHA!
We sang the song non stop!! HAHA But sadly no T-Pain or lonely Island to sing with..
