As a kid I was told this a lot. Of course, being a kid I always thought "Yeah Right- How on earth could I possibly learn anything else, especially at 18 when I knew it ALL... I could right an entire book on that subject!!
Now that I am older I see that it is true. I find when I pay attention, that I do learn something new everyday. Somedays more than others, all in all I am fascinated by it! To think there is so much to know, see, touch, smell, etc. This world is an exciting place when you embrace it. Though at times, yes, it can be incredibly monotonaus, humdrum, and boring. When I have those type of days I try to remember that tomorrow I may learn something that could completely change my life! Or something less than lifechanging, like how Cashews are harvested in Thailand. Either way, it is something to look forward too. Im excited to know what each new day holds for learning, I love to learn. Even a bad learned experience is better than no experience at all. There is a blessing in every lesson right?! I think so.

I also think it is true that I learn something new everyday. The problem is that for every one thing I learn, I seem to forget five more. Do you think our brains work like DVR? The last thing in is the first thing that is erased. That is likely an oversimplification. I think that our brains are closer to hard drives that need defragging from time to time (that's where alcohol comes in). I suppose all those bits of my life are in there somewhere but do I really dare to go looking for them? Maybe some things are better left untouched. Oh man, I really deviated from your topic... sorry.
HAHAHAHA No Woories! It got you thinking and thats all that matters :) Thinking helps to keep our brains from suffering CRS...
