What a great family !! I have said it before and I will say it again, I believe Gravy should be its own food group. Gravy is so delightful that society even uses it as a slang word. "Its all gravy" means Everything is wonderful for me thankyou-or "I got plenty of Gravy" means I have a nice balance in my bank account. I'm sure there are more, but it is universal that Gravy is the icing on the cake of the savory world. I could eat gravy at every meal and a thin gravy could definetly be a beverage if say you had lockjaw, not a sausage gravy of course but a turkey or beef gravy would work. I do prefer a thicker version though. I think my love for gravy is the reason why Thanksgiving is my 2nd favorite Holiday. I mean sure Im thankful, yada yada yada but my heart is really in it for the gravy.

Oh yeah, Colleen, you would have to have comments on Gravy . . .which I can't have anymore since it has wheat in it. Whaaaa - Thanksgiving and no gravy. Whaaa,oh well, I'll be in Mazatlan so I guess I'll survive.

Being a southerner, if I had the money, I would install a gravy loop in my house so that all the plumbing would flow freely with gravy 24/7. We would have gravy ice cubes, a filtered gravy dispenser, gravy showers and yes... even gravy in the toilets. (I would have to train the dog not to eat the 'lumpy gravy'). Can you imgaine going through your day after a nice hot gravy shower, being able to enjoy the aroma of a bountiful feast all day long?
WOW ANONYMOUS (Ben perhaps) You are really on to something!! Something like The GRAVY TRAIN !! I had never though of installing a gravy plumbing system-it sounds Delightful! Like a reverse Charlie and the Chocolate Factory if you will. I like where your head is at and I give you 2 thumbs up for such a fantastic comment.
Oh my that gravy boat pic looks like melted chocolate. Now chocolate everywhere would also be very fantastic, concur?
Chocolate everywhere would be nice for a Chocolate lover like Dessi but Im more of a savory girl. I like the idea of a hot gravy shower,but then I think I would want to bring bread,roast beef and mashed potatoes in the shower with me and that would be unrealistic unless I installed a garbage disposal like Kramer did in Seinfeld...
Gimme Gravy!!! I absolutely love gravy - heck when I was growing up we used to put gravy over pieces of bread after dinner and considered it dessert. I love gravy on biscuits, toast, french fries, chicken, potatoes, turkey, mac n cheese, stuffing....I could go on and on. The sad thing is that my hubby and kiddos don't share my love of this delictable little treat - well at least not the love of cream gravy. Thanks for the cravings - I think I'm headed to Whataburger for lunch today!!
